Workshops

Are you a new student? Come to one of our workshops!

First Year Library Basics

I know how to use the Internet, why would I use the library? My professor wants me to use resources I've never used. Can I get help with my research?

These are questions every first year student asks. Get answers at these workshops, where a librarian will show you how to find the kinds of resources your professors expect you to use in college. Here's a bonus — some professors offer extra credit!

These workshops are offered every quarter. Check our current Library Workshop schedule.

But wait — you have to sign up in advance! Register for First Year Workshops.
