Get easy access to research materials online.

Pfau Library offers more than 25,000 full-text magazines, journals, and newspapers online; about 3,000 electronic books; and a variety of research indexes. To reach these resources from off campus, students need only their Coyote ID number and a web connection. No special set-up is required!

If you have questions about resources appropriate for your class, or would like me to create a "library resource" web page for your course, please contact me.

Add online materials to your course web pages.

A wide variety of library research materials can be included in web pages for your course. For complete instructions on creating library links, please see Linking to Library Resources.

Place course materials in Electronic Reserves:

Short readings (such as photocopies of articles or excerpts from books) for your course can be scanned and placed online in the library's Electronic Reserves module. E-Reserves materials are password protected and used for one quarter only, to prevent copyright infringement problems. Contact Sylvia Cardenas (909 537 3471) to place items in Electronic Reserves.

Get instructional & research support:

The library offers a variety of support and instructional materials online (see http://www.lib.csusb.edu/help/help.cfm ). I am available to teach instructional sessions on-site or off-site, and I can tailor instructional materials to your course needs on request. I am also available to answer any research questions your or your students may have, via phone or email.

Get delivery to off-site locations:

Items not available on-line can be delivered to Palm Desert Campus. For any other location, please contact me for special delivery arrangements.
