Microforms

Microforms include microfiche (rectangular sheets of film) and microfilm (rolls of 35mm film). Microforms are usually copies of older newspapers, journals, and magazines, but also include selected Government Documents and special historical collections.

Microforms are in metal cabinets on the 4th floor, behind the elevators. Microfiche ERIC Documents have been moved into storage, but documents can be retrieved upon request at the Check-Out desk.

The 4th floor microforms area includes a digital microform scanner, which allows you to save, email, or print to the 1st floor printers. There are also two microform reader/printers which print for 25 cents (exact change only).

Ask at the Reference Desk for help finding and using microforms.
