Reference Librarians

The reference desk is located on the first floor of the library. Nearby, there are 7,000 reference books, 40 computer terminals, 3 network printers, and a value port where you can add money to your campus ID card or purchase a guest print card.

Drop-In Reference Consultation

There is a librarian at the reference desk to assist students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Our librarians assist users with research and reference questions, electronic databases and print resources, general Internet searching, and the online catalog of library holdings. Reference librarians provide individual instruction in using these resources and help to construct effective search strategies for finding information. No appointment is necessary.

Reference Consultation by Appointment

Librarians are available during business hours for private consultation by appointment. Appointments may be scheduled with the librarian subject specialist in a particular subject.
